Delilah Knox Rios was born in Springfield, Ohio. She married Pedro Rios Rodriguez and together they have two children.
Mrs. Rios earned a Bachelor of Science in Law degree from Western State University College of Law in December 1978 and earned a Juris Doctor with Scholastic Merit in December 1979.
While in law school, she was awarded the AmJur in Corporations and AmJur in Conflict of Laws. She passed the Bar examination on her first attempt and was admitted to the State Bar of California in May 1980. She was also admitted to the District Court of the United States in the Southern, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
For the past 30+ years, Mrs. Rios has practiced law as a sole practitioner with an emphasis in Family Law, Divorce, Child Support, Spousal Support, Complex Community Property, Paternity, Collaborative Family Law, Mediation, Real Property, Small Business Contracts, Wills and Trusts providing these services to clients in the Courts of San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Kern, Ventura, Santa Clara, Alameda and Stanislaus counties. She is a Certified Family Law Specialist, State Bar of California and Board of Legal Specialization.
For six years, she taught a Family Law class and a Wills class at
San Bernardino Valley College. She renders Pro Bono Legal services
in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
When Mrs. Rios is not busy in a court room, she authors fiction, writes non-fiction magazine articles and collects first edition books. |
